Dr. Debra Allen

Dr. Debra Allen, CEO/Founder of Strategic Resources and Solutions, Inc. is the senior grant writer of the firm.  An educator by profession, Dr. Allen has over thirty years of experience in higher education teaching, administration, and grant writing. Through Strategic Resources and Solutions, Dr. Allen conducts seminars in grant writing, strategic planning, leadership development, church governance, nonprofit matters, budgeting, and management.  She guides organizations in starting a business and coaches the CEO through the startup process. 

Dr. Allen wears many hats. She is a motivational speaker, visionary, facilitator, grant writer, church planter, businesswoman, and nonprofit leader. Additionally, she is the founder/CEO of New Hope World Outreach, a church/nonprofit organization in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. New Hope World Outreach works with youth, providing a grant funded academic enrichment camp, and teaching Life Skills for Teens.

Dr. Chandria Jones

Dr. Chandria D. Jones specializes in culturally responsive and equitable evaluation and research with a particular focus on leveraging community engagement and participatory methods. She has been conducting research, writing proposals, and administering grants for over two decades. Her efforts concentrate in the areas of public health, mental health, child welfare, and education. Dr. Jones’ work has a strong racial equity focus and emphasizes the need to go beyond individual behavior change to understand the social, cultural, and physical environments and the systems in which people live, which either encourage or inhibit opportunities for health and well-being. She received her Ph.D. in Behavioral and Community Health from the University of Maryland, College Park, her Masters in Public Health from Florida International University, and her Bachelors in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University.

Belen Michael

Consulting Staff

Belen Michael, MPH is a researcher and public health professional with over 7 years of experience. She believes in people centered solutions to public health issues. Ms. Michael has worked directly with clinicians and patients in hospital settings and consulted for federal and non-profit clients. Her passion lies in health literacy, culturally responsive and equitable evaluations, and maternal health. Ms. Michael received her MPH in Health Behavior and Health Education and a Certificate in Health Informatics from the University of Michigan.
